The adhesion of the coating layer of the workpiece directly affects the service life of the workpiece. Many manufacturers have strict requirements on the film layer when coating the workpiece. Therefore, when purchasing a vacuum coating machine, the choice of coating technology is also more cautious. The following Xiaobian will introduce the research process of film adhesion to you, hoping to help you:

When magnetron sputtering is used on polymer coatings, the film is very thin, usually 50-200 nm, so the test of the adhesion of ultra-thin coatings on this softer substrate is different from the usual coating. Layer adhesion test. For the adhesion test of common polymer coatings, since its thickness is usually several to tens of microns, the adhesion can be measured by directly peeling off the coating or some other standard methods; for metal on hard substrates More than 20 methods have been proposed for coating, including stretching method, shearing method, pull-down method, grinding method, etc. There is almost no connection between different methods, and the data difference can reach two orders of magnitude. The data obtained by the method are not generalizable. For the adhesion test of ultra-thin coatings on polymer coated substrates, there are few domestic research reports. In this study, the adhesion of the ultra-thin coatings was tested by the aluminum column to the sticky positive pull method.
Magnetron sputtering vacuum coating machine coating film test method: (1) Coating adhesion test method After the coated aluminum column is adhered with an adhesive, connect the thread at the other end of the aluminum column to the tensile chuck of the material tensile testing machine. Adhesion, by testing the tensile strength of the sticking aluminum column, is divided into two cases to investigate the size of the adhesion. When there is no coating peeled off on the failure surface, the adhesion of the coating is greater than the tensile strength of the sticking aluminum column. When the coating falls off on the failure surface, the tensile strength of the aluminum column is approximately the adhesion of the coating.
Magnetron sputtering vacuum coating machine coating film test process:
       (1) Pre-treatment of aluminum column coating Use 400# and 600# water abrasive paper to polish the opposite surface of the aluminum column, rinse it with tap water, and place it in an oven at (80±5) ℃ for 1 hour. After diluting 100 parts of polyurethane paint with 30-50 parts of industrial butyl acetate, brush it on the sticking surface (only one of the two sticking aluminum posts), then put the brushed surface up and put it in (60± 5) Heat in an oven at ℃ for 1h, then raise the temperature to (80±5)℃ and keep it for 5-6h.
       (2) Aluminum column coating The brushed surface of the aluminum column is subjected to magnetron sputtering coating treatment, and the processing parameters are:
       Plating material H62
       Sputtering power/kW 20~30
       Sputtering time/min 2
       Sputtering pressure/Pa 0.1~0.4
       Target base distance/mm 600
       (3) The aluminum column is glued immediately. The coated aluminum column is immediately glued, and the adhesives are 3 varieties: unsaturated polyester putty, one-component polyurethane varnish and epoxy resin glue, and then another new aluminum column is used with it. Sticky. After positioning and pressing, it was first cured at room temperature for 24 hours, then heated and cured at (70±5) °C for 6 hours, and then the tensile strength of the aluminum column was tested.
