The plasma density in this region is very high, and the secondary electrons are surrounded by the magnetic field. The target surface moves in a circular motion, and the electron has a very long movement path. During the movement, it continuously collides with argon atoms and ionizes a large number of argon ions to bombard the target material. , away from the target, and finally deposited on the substrate.
       Compared with the evaporation method, the magnetron sputtering method of the pvd coating machine has the advantages of strong bonding force between the coating layer and the substrate layer, and the coating layer is dense and uniform. The vacuum evaporation coating method needs to vaporize the metal or metal compound, and the heating temperature should not be too high, otherwise the vapor-deposited metal will burn out the plastic substrate. Therefore, the vacuum evaporation method is generally only suitable for aluminum and other low melting points. The metal source is the most widely used vacuum coating process at present. On the contrary, the sputtering coating method uses high-voltage electric field excitation to generate plasma coating material, which is suitable for almost all high melting point metals, alloys, non-metals and metal compound coating source materials, such as chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, titanium, silver, gold, etc. Moreover, it is a mandatory deposition process. The adhesion between the coating layer and the substrate obtained by this method is much higher than that of the vacuum evaporation coating method. The coating layer of the pvd coating machine has the advantages of compactness and uniformity, and the processing cost is relatively high.
