For those solvent-resistant materials, such as POM, PPO, PPS and other polymers containing benzene rings, surface oxidation treatment or roughening is usually required. For materials that are more difficult to bond, such as polyamines and polyimines, surface etching is usually required to bond.
         For polar plastics, such as polyester, epoxy, polyurethane, polyamine, etc., plastic surface treatment methods also have different requirements. Generally speaking, the smaller the polarity, the less processing is required. Among these materials, polyester and epoxy have the strongest polarity and need to be bonded after roughening the surface. Rigid polyurethane is not very polar and usually can be bonded with polyurethane adhesive, but it needs to be treated with epoxy for plastic surface. Polyamine is one of the least polar and can be bonded without handling.
         When choosing a pvd coating machine for plastic surface treatment methods, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the chemical properties of the corresponding materials, the polymer segment structure and the special requirements of the application field. High-reliability bonding usually requires more plastic surface treatment.
