The aluminum film of pvd coating machine is the most representative product of the current vapor deposition composite film. It melts and evaporates the aluminum wire at a high temperature under high vacuum conditions, and the aluminum vapor is deposited and concentrated on the surface of the plastic film to form a layer with a thickness of about 35-40 nm. The barrier layer, the plastic film as the base material can be PE, PP, PET, PA, PVC, etc. The aluminum film of the vacuum coating machine has excellent barrier properties. In the case of not requiring transparent packaging, the vacuum aluminum film of the pvd coating machine is an excellent choice, and the aluminum film has good fragrance retention, metallic luster and beautiful decoration. However, due to the ductility of aluminum metal and the limitation of aluminizing technology, the aluminized layer is prone to pinholes or cracks after being kneaded and rubbed, which affects the oxygen and moisture barrier properties of vacuum aluminized packaging.

ASTM F392 is a method standard specially used to test the anti-kneading and kneading properties of flexible packaging materials. Through this test, it can simulate the kneading, kneading, bending and other behaviors of the film in the process of production, processing, and transportation. The anti-rubbing performance of the material can be judged by detecting the change in the number of pinholes or the change in the barrier performance of the sample before and after the rubbing test, which can provide a quantitative basis for packaging design and the actual application of the material.
The rubbing resistance of the sample can be judged by the following two methods: first, use dyed turpentine to measure the number of pinholes formed during the rubbing process; second, compare the air permeability or moisture permeability of the sample before and after the test. The pinholes formed in the rubbing test can only be measured by dyed turpentine. However, if only one layer of the multilayer composite material is broken, or some plastic films are not easy to form pinholes in the rubbing test, then the rubbing resistance of these materials The determination of the need to pass professional barrier test equipment to complete.
