Transmission system is the power system that makes the car produce driving force, including final drive, axle box, bearing, gear and bogie, etc. A high-quality transmission system not only does not allow any deviation in the evaluation of the final gear set, but also takes into account the deviation of the axle or steering frame.
For the front and rear drive vehicles, the torque from the engine is transmitted to the rear wheels through the clutch, gearbox, universal joint, transmission shaft, main reducer, differential and half shaft, so the rear wheel is also called driving wheel. When the driving wheel gets the torque, it gives a backward force to the ground, and thus causes the ground to face the driving wheel to produce a forward reaction force, which is the driving force of the car. The front wheel and transmission system of a car generally have no direct power connection, so they are called driven wheels.
