The cleaning process requirements of the pvd coating machine are a concern of many people, because in the later stage of using the pvd coating machine, the service life of the pvd coating machine and the quality of the coated film have a great relationship with the proper cleaning of the vacuum coating machine. So what is the cleaning process of pvd coating machine?
Before the vacuum process is carried out, the vacuum material should be cleaned to remove contaminants from the surface of the workpiece or system material; the surface cleaning treatment of vacuum parts is also very necessary, because the gas and vapor source caused by the contamination will not only make the vacuum system unable to obtain the required vacuum. Moreover, due to the presence of contaminants, it will also affect the strength and sealing performance of the vacuum component connection.
Pollutants can be defined as "any kind of useless substance or energy", which can be divided into solid, gas and liquid according to the physical state of pollutants, which exist in the form of films or particles. In terms of its chemical characteristics, it can be in an ionic or covalent state, and can be inorganic or organic.
Surfaces exposed to air are most susceptible to contamination, and contamination can come from a variety of sources, with the initial contamination usually being part of the formation of the surface itself. Adsorption phenomena, chemical reactions, leaching and drying processes, mechanical treatments, and diffusion and segregation processes all contribute to increased surface contamination of various components. According to the vacuum coating processing plant, the more common types of contaminants on the surface of vacuum materials are as follows:
1. Grease: lubricants, cutting fluids, vacuum greases, etc., which are contaminated during processing, assembly, and operation;
2. Acid, alkali and salt substances: residual substances during cleaning, hand sweat, minerals in water, etc.;
3. Surface oxide: the surface oxide formed by the material being placed in the air for a long time or placed in the humid air;
4. Water-based products: hand sweat during operation, water vapor during blowing, saliva, etc.;
5. Polishing residue and dust and other organic matter in the ambient air.
The purpose of cleaning these pollutants is to improve the working stability of the vacuum coating machine, so that the work can be carried out more smoothly. The cleaned surface can be divided into two categories: atomically clean surface and process technology clean surface according to the requirements.
Before the
pvd coating machine uses the coating material to coat, a simple surface cleaning of the coating material can prolong the service life of the coating machine. Because various contaminants not only make the vacuum system unable to obtain the required vacuum degree, but also affect the strength and sealing performance of the vacuum parts connection. The cleaning work in place in the early stage can reduce a lot of trouble and avoid the occurrence of many small problems, which has a very positive effect on the work efficiency and the coating quality of the pvd coating machine. It can greatly improve the working stability of all vessel walls and other component surfaces in the vacuum system under various working conditions.
