Different types of DLC coatings have different production technologies. DLC coating is suitable for extreme wear conditions and high relative speed, even under the condition of no lubrication operation. It has excellent wear resistance, friction oxidation resistance and adhesion (anti-wear). It can withstand the surface pressure that will cause wear and cold welding immediately under normal conditions, reduce the friction loss to the minimum, and prevent the matrix from destructive attack due to its good corrosion resistance.
